Bishop Tommy McGhee

Executive Director of IPHC Discipleship Ministries

Bishop Tommy McGhee is the Executive Director of Discipleship Ministries, and also serves as the Corporate Secretary for the International Pentecostal Holiness Church. His vision for Discipleship Ministries is to identify the best discipleship resources available to help put them in the hands of local church leaders where discipleship happens.

Bishop McGhee served as Superintendent of the Cornerstone Conference (Western North Carolina) from June 1994 until July 2012. Prior to being Superintendent, he served as the Evangelism & World Missions Director of the Western North Carolina Conference for six years and as a pastor in the conference for twelve years. He joined the Western North Carolina Conference while attending Emmanuel University in Franklin Springs, Georgia. He graduated from Emmanuel with a B.S. in Religious Studies; and later from Southwestern Christian University Graduate School (Bethany, Oklahoma) with a Master of Ministry Degree in Church Growth & Church Planting.

Bishop McGhee is married to Elizabeth Frye McGhee, and they live in Walkertown, North Carolina. They have two grown children – Jennifer (Walkertown, NC) and Jason (Stokesdale, NC). Jason and his wife, Mandy, have one daughter, Audrey who is the delight of her grandparents!

Dr. Michelle Anthony

Director of The Initiative for Faith & Family

Dr. Michelle Anthony is the Director of The Initiative for Faith and Family and Executive Pastor of Family Ministries at New Life Church in Colorado Springs, CO. Michelle has graduate degrees in Christian education, theology, and leadership and more than 30 years of church ministry experience as a children’s and family pastor. She is also the author of Spiritual Parenting, The Big God Story, Becoming a Spiritually Healthy Family, and 7 Family Ministry Essentials. Michelle loves a good book and a cup of coffee.

Timothy Shepard

Program Director for The Initiative For Faith and Family

Tim Shepard serves as the Program Director for The Initiative for Faith and Family, drawing from years of ministry experience as both a Children’s and Student Pastor in the local church. He also travels and speaks at youth and family events, equipping and encouraging others toward deeper discipleship. Tim is passionate about following Jesus, preaching the gospel, and inviting others to do the same. A devoted husband to his wife, Mariah, and proud father of two, Tim is currently pursuing his master’s degree in theological and Christian studies at Dallas Theological Seminary. When he’s not studying, serving, or speaking, you’ll find him enjoying time with family and friends, staying active, or competing on the pickleball court.
